Finally...it's begun!
So my friends, i now have some stories of my travels to share with you...this place is freekin hot! (like i wasn't expecting that.) I arrived on friday night at midnight, coming out of the airport was killer: the heat plus all the exhaust from the million cars...mmmmm. Anyways, i settled in my air conditioned hotel and attempted to sleep. Jet legged as hell i think i managed maybe two hours. Bangkok was a bit too overwhelming at first so i decided to get out of there asap. Next stop Kanachanaburi where i got to enjoy a few tours:

Firts stop: Tiger Temple, this place was pretty sweet. The monks live with the tigers and other wild animanls and care for them. They take you around and you get to pet most of them...i think there was like 12 or something!

Day two in Kanachanaburi: Erawan National Park. With our guide we went to five beautiful waterfalls and got to swim in two. Sit under the waterfall and let it massage your back, ahhhh, so nice!

Day three: I took this awesome cooking course at the Apple's guesthouse where i'm staying. We got to tour the local markets and the lady explained most of the "unknow food". Man, they make some crazy things in this place but i tried as much as i could. Then we got to learn to cook a bunch of soups and main courses...Sven, watch out!
All in all, i'm having a blast and not so nervous anymore. I hear some pretty interesting stories from other travelers about them getting ripped off. I'm sure it'll happen but lets hope not! Tomorrow it's off to Hua Hin the Ko Tao. Till next time.
