Over load

I don't know where to start...i have so many stories to share with all of you and could spend my whole day writing them. Since that isnt the best idea i'll give you the just of it.
I finished in Koh Tao with my advanced course. It was super sweet...the best part of it was that i got to do a night dive! Saw tonnes of wicked fish sleeping...it was suprisingly a very calm experience...and the trigger fish were sleeping so they aren't there to attack your fins! (which by the way i watched someone get attacked and it was a sight for sore eyes!) I came out of the water with the biggest grin on my face possible (as you can see). With me in the pic is my dive master Jarrod who was the best guide!

(Ladies...this is the best dancer you'll ever see!)

The next week was filled with fun dives, snorkeling with some sharks and lots of relaxing.
Now i have moved on to Koh Lanta (the west side of Thailand) and am enjoying my time here with Kate and John.
Tomorrow me and Kate are heading to Koh Lak then going on a LiveABoard boat for two nights. On this we go on a tour through the Similan Islands and get to do nine dives with only 6 other people and a dive master. We had planned on going with John...but they didn't have enough room...so that was a huge disapointement for all of us. Guess he is just going to have to come to Canada and visit...right John?
Not sure what my next plan is though...i am seriously contemplating buying a plane ticket to Phnom Penh in Cambodia (only $40..wowza) and making my way back through Angkor Waht then to Bangkok for my final nights (tear, tear). Well i get to finish off with some shopping which i have been eagerly awaiting .
So my friends...i miss you all and take care.
PS. I know there are a lot of self pics (sorry mom) but tis the way it is!

A Poem

For your enjoyment:
The wonder of this soil we call home. Connected by elements that surround us making you my brother, my sister, my family. The brilliant discoveries when we say hi to our neighbour, the enchantment of poised experience, the discovery of a new color, shade, or hue. The gift is our to take, life percolation through every conceivable crevasses that remains our soul. Eyes slide forward, see the earth in the spectacular spectacle, for in it you become part of the rainbow of color.

Evening Bliss

Beautiful isn't it? The sun setting at a hut on the mountain in Koh Tao. This place comes equipped with hammoks, a pet monkey (along with various other animals) and the most spectacular view.
Planning on taking my advanced diving course in a few days, then eventually head out of here to the west coast of Thailand. Go diving near the Similan Islands, its suppose to be some of the best diving in Thailand...sounds good to me!
PS, to all my amazing little dancers out there...have fun at the dance festival. I wish you all the best of luck and wish i was there to watch you. Break a leg!

Lovin' it

This last week has been awesome and with a few adventures. First off when i left Hua Hin for Chumphon i got dropped off on the side of the road (about 10kms form town) with no taxi's or rides! They were of course willing to rent me a motorbike and i was like no way. I was like...well ill just have to walk. Some cute old man saw me and was a hero! He picked me up and drove me to town! Notice how happy i am!

Next Ko Tao. Now this place is very chill. I have now got my open water diving certificate so somehow have to manage to put it to use in the north! It would be better is i could take my advenced diving course but money just doesnt allow that! Next time.

I got to go for a night out with my super diving instructor Rich! I got to experience the smallest bar ive ever seen...a VW van on teh beach...so cool! Then it was off to the party on the other side of the island. Music was not bad but of course my stubborn self didn't dance...typical! I also got to go on my first ever motorbike ride with three people, nice driving Rich and good advice Sureal...keep your eyes on the road!

~Hope the snow is treating everyone good! Miss you guys~

Lobster Girl

If only this picture was bigger...you could see that it is me...a lobster! I'm serious, i didn't think it was possible to get this colour. I put sunscreen on all day. Guess it wasn't enough for this damn hot weather.
Anyways, time to move on from this town (Hua Hin) and head to an island. Tonight i'm gonna check out a Thai rock group, leaving in style.
